The staff there is excellent!! We also enjoyed the free bike rental. When is Davis you need to ride a bike.
Odd smell in hall of 2nd floor.

Exceptionally friendly staff, and great food!!!
Fairly clean hotel in a nice building very close to a well-known Saturday farmers market and the many stores and restaurants downtown and central Davis. Particularly good and absolutely perfect location - close to Uc Davis Arboretum. Also, short on one vital area.

Upon checking in, I experienced exceptional customer service. com. The staff member was polite and professional throughout the interaction. The hotel itself was well-maintained and had a convenient location. The helpful staff even assisted me in arranging my next Amtrak ticket. I had a positive experience at the Hilton Garden Inn Davis Downtown.
The only minor inconvenience I encountered was the television in my room not working for half of my stay. Additionally, the air conditioning heating unit in the first room I was assigned was not functioning properly.

We were amazed at how accommodating Hallmark was to all the bikers staying there for the Livestrong Challenge. They not only let us put our bikes in our room, they opened the breakfast room at 5:00 for the early start of the ride. They also let us leave our vehicle there for the day after we had checked out. We couldn't have been happier at how we were treated.
The parking spaces in the basement were too small for our truck, and the driveway precarious.

Rooms are very noisy with train noise, street noise and neighbor room noise. Beds are uncomfortable and high in allergies.
They offer free continental breakfast, but not food allergy friendly.

The staff were exceptionally nice and incredibly kind. The location in a nice enough area was marvellous. There were several stores and bookstores nearby. Thoroughly enjoyed the onsite restaurant Seasons, no need to go somewhere else.

Great central location. Rooms were comfortable. Evening happy hour (5- 7pm) and continental breakfast were nice.
Hotel is right across from the train tracks, so if a few train horns upset you during the middle of the night, this might not be the place for you.

Confort and being close to the city center
It is too close to a railway and the noise is loud although not frequent.

Just revamped rooms that are peaceful, plus beds you can melt into 😴. They serve up tasty dishes paired with free drinks.

The hotel is pet-friendly and located in a walkable area close to dining spots, UC Davis, restaurants, and shops. Recently renovated rooms feature a bathtub for guests. the property has a clean pool and on-site parking. the early check-in process was smooth. Conveniently located near Rocknasium, making for a very enjoyable stay.

Large comfortable room. Buffet breakfast pleasantly complete, including the option to get an omelet.
For the light sleepers beware: The aircon has a simple on/off regulation scheme, which means it's quiet one moment, making noise the other. Also you can hear the train passing close by, especially because they keep sounding the horn going through town.

It is right in the heart of the town of Davis. Easy walking to shops, restaurants.
The insulation to prevent the night train whistles from waking you up is poor--at least in the room I was given when I asked for a quiet room.
Tourists from South Africa often stay at these properties. Ideas for your future trips.
